6 months

I can't believe dad has been gone 6 months today, and tomorrow I will be walking in his memory.Even if you can't walk with me, every donation counts-even if it's only $5.00. Thank you!!!

WHY?

I was just having a conversation with several folks who have lost family members to suicide and we all agreed that we have moments of anger and frustration and just want to know WHY? This video kind of reflects those feelings.

Dance with my Father Again...

This song has always brought tears to my eyes, but since my dad died, it has so much more meaning. At least I got the chance to dance with my dad at my wedding. One memory that sticks out to me is when we went out for dinner the week before my wedding. We went to Outback and split crablegs and had shots of jagermeister. Well, I had one too many shots and got sick. I fell asleep on the bathroom floor  (at home, not at Outback), and I woke up with a pillow under my head and a blanket over me. Dad had to get up and go to work the next day, but he checked on me throughout the night to ensure that I was alright.

Love you Dad!!!   <3

Me and You and a Dog Named Boo...

I found my dad's LOBO CD when I received boxes from his office-this was one of his fave songs. Love you Dad!

Putting a Face on Suicide

I'm not sure if this link will work, but my dad's tribute made the top on Facebook's Putting a Face on Suicide's page-I've discovered if you're logged into FB this should work-just click on "dad," below:

Dad

So Far Away

I rarely listen to the radio (usually listen to my ipod) in my car and let alone listen to the rock station and I just happened to hear this song on the way to work the other day...I have to admit, I cried a little...

You Can Let Go Now Daddy

I was told this was one of my dad's favorite songs prior to his passing:
